Twigley Farm is a 20-acre property in Haigslea, Ipswich, offering a rural haven just 45 minutes from Brisbane’s CBD and 20 minutes from Ipswich. At its heart is a newly renovated 1880s Queenslander with eclectic European-inspired decor, featuring a fireplace, black clawfoot bath, farmhouse kitchen, wrap-around verandah, and large fig trees. Accommodating up to six guests, this historic home is available for guest accommodation and location hire. Established in the 1800s by the Linning family, who operated a nearby butter factory, Twigley Farm carries a rich heritage. Our family moved in 2020, revitalizing the property and creating a unique mix of luxury and history. The farm showcases additional heritage structures, including an old hay shed with rustic tree-trunk pillars and a boutique outhouse, repurposed for glamping with a clawfoot bath and modern amenities. We have a spacious horse arena, ideal for equestrian scenes, and a versatile shed we’ve transformed into “The Conservatory,” featuring black-and-white checkerboard floors, growing green walls, and sweeping countryside views. The grounds are also home to a variety of animals—horses, mini ponies, goats, geese, and soon, chickens—and a large raised-bed garden for fresh produce. A 200-meter-long dam completes Twigley Farm's picturesque landscape, making it an ideal location for filming and photography.
