Description:
Elephant Rock is a well-known rock formation located on Currumbin Beach and is the remains of ancient volcanic activity. Take the stairs to the platform at the top of Elephant Rock for spectacular views to Surfers Paradise in the north and Coolangatta to the south. Elephant Rock has become a significant site for the annual Anzac Day Dawn Service and houses a war memorial plaque at the western base of the rock.
