The Hervey Bay Historical Village has 27 buildings over 3 acres. It houses cobblers, barbers, small school house, garage workshop, church, fire station, old machinery workshops, blacksmith, wood turning, dairy, pigsty, harness room and a cottage. There is a large internal grassed area in the centre of the buildings surrounding. There are also small crops and shaded areas surrounding this quiet setting. Situated next door is the 'Z Pac Theatre', with 128 raked auditorium seating. The theatre is air conditioned.
