Mt Coot-tha, originally home to the Turrbal Aboriginal people, is a forest reserve with more than 1500 hectares to hike and bushwalk. The Mt Coot-tha summit provides views to the city, Moreton Bay, Stradbroke Island and southern ranges. The Mahogany Track - 2.6 kilometres / 1.6 miles / 1.5 hours - is a walking path between the JC Slaughter Falls picnic area and The Summit. The trail is multi-use, and provides an alternative way to cycle to the summit rather than following the road. Located 65.6km (40.7 miles/ 51 min) from Village Roadshow Studios.
