Lumholtz Lodge is a Bed and Breakfast with a very special wildlife experience. The owner is a wildlife carer who specialises in restoring the health of the Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo. There is an abundance of other wildlife including possums, wallabies and rainforest birds. The owner has been caring for sick and orphaned wildlife for over 40 years. Her work, specifically with tree kangaroos, is recognised internationally in the natural history world. International film crews and journalists stay in this B&B to use her expertise, her hospitality, prime location and fastidious accommodation to complete their Australian wildlife stories.
