Description:
The Yungaburra Hotel, also known as the Lake Eacham Hotel, is located in the town of Yungaburra on the Atherton Tablelands. It is the second largest timber hotel in the southern hemisphere, and was built in 1910 by Henry Williams when the railway came to town. It was extended in art deco style in 1926 to cater for the extra business coming from the opening of the Gillies Highway.
