Description:
Goshen Station is a working cattle station of 48,000 acres not far from Blencoe Falls (Girringun National Park) in the wet tropics of North Queensland where the first series of Australian Survivor was filmed in 2001. It is about 5.5 hours from Cairns (90 kms past Mount Garnet) west of Blencoe Falls. The owners of Goshen offer a large part of their property to self-supported campers. The campsites are along the very beautiful Herbert River. The tracks on the property are mainly 4WD access and enable driving right up to the spectacular Herbert River Falls. A large variety of Australian bush scenes can be found on Goshen from the river to forested areas to open grasslands and termite mounds.
