Description:Woody Point Jetty has a rich history branching back to the 1880’s when it was built to accommodate the growing township of Redcliffe peninsula. Over the many years and generations, the jetty has had quite a few upgrades but has been a constant and favourite fishing location for locals to come with friends and family or by themselves to cast a line and unwind. The sunrise coming over the water is a truly jaw-dropping sight, as the beautiful hues of orange, yellow and red bounce across the water and sky. While the sunset in the west creeps slow down behind the mountains creating a golden shine across the bay, a spectacular sight to be held. Located 29km away from Brisbane Airport, this will take 28 minutes along the M1 freeway.
