One of Charters Towers’ most beautiful historic buildings, the 129-year-old City Hall, is now listed on the Queensland Heritage Register. Formerly the Charters Towers branch of the Queensland National Bank, the Mosman Street premises has been known as City Hall since 1948 and continues to be used for civic purposes.
