Description:
Extinct Pyroclastic cone standing 120 metres (390ft) above the surrounding landscape. The summit of Mount Fox is crowned by a shallow grassy plateau. Quite an epic sight in contrast to the surrounding lowlands of the area. Located approximately 1594km (990 miles / 17 hrs 35 mins) from Village Roadshow Studios. The nearest airport is Townsville Airport (TSV) approx- 2 hour flight from Brisbane Airport (BNE). The closest POH, Brisbane City, is 1531km (951 miles / 17 hrs 5 mins) away.
