Urangan Pier in Hervey Bay is one of the longest piers in Australia measuring 868 metres. The northerly facing Pier began construction in 1913 and was finished in 1917. Its original purpose was to transport sugar and coal by rail to transport vessels. It is a popular attraction for fishing. Each step out into the ocean brings closer the breath-taking water views.
