Founded in 1996, initially to restore the former Queensland Railways locomotive depot in Warwick. In 2000, a C17 class steam locomotive was purchased and restored to operational condition with passenger operations commencing in January 2009. The museum regularly operates services on the Southern line from Warwick to Toowoomba and Wallangarra. We have over 4 acres of railway memorabilia, Steam & Diesel Locomotives, 100 year old railway carriages and we are the custodians of a large unique sandstone 1886 built railway station with original assets Located 194km (120 miles / 2 h 20 min) from Village Roadshow Studios.
