From Morans Falls lookout enjoy spectacular views of Morans Falls tumbling 80m into Morans Creek gorge. Morans Falls fluctuates between a thunderous roar after rain, to a gentle trickle in the drier months. Follow the track over a crystal-clear creek to Morans Clearing lookout and take in sweeping vistas over the Albert River valley towards Mount Lindsey and Mount Barney in the distance - this clearing is also the place where the first mountain home, a bark hut of the O'Reilly brothers stood. This park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. 4x4 vehicle access only. 300m walk to location from closest vehicle park. Located 60.4km (37 miles / 1 hr 15 mins) from Village Roadshow Studios. The nearest airport is Gold Coast, Coolangatta Airport (OOL).
