Hudson Island, around 16 ha in size, is the southernmost island of the Family Islands group and located approximately 20 km East of Tully Heads. The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority has deemed this island a Sensitive Location and limits visits to two per week. Located approximately 1657km (1029 miles / 19 hr 25 mins) from Village Roadshow Studios. The nearest airport is Cairns Airport (CNS) approx- 2 hour 30 min flight from Brisbane (BNE) or Gold Coast, Coolangatta (OOL) airports.
