The beautiful Magnetic Island is fifty-two square kilometres of mountainous land located, just offshore from Townsville, in Cleveland Bay. The Island has twenty-seven square kilometres of national park, as well as a bird sanctuary. There are walking tracks between the bays with a number of tourist spots to stop, including World War II Forts. Arthur Bay has a picnic area, caves, and magnificent views within its serene surrounds.
