Nestled at the base of Devils Thumb in Whyanbeel Far North Queensland. We offer 50 acres of pristine untouched Daintree Rainforest with creeks and swimming holes. Together with this is a now defunct open air theatre, restaurant and bar. This area includes 30 acres of lawns, gardens and fruit trees, surrounded by creeks. The theatre was built by Dianne Cilento & Tony Shaffer in the early 1990's and for nearly 20 years delivered entertainment to the locals of Far North Queensland and many international dignitaries including Bill Clinton. Opened by the then premier Wayne Goss Karnak Playhouse has a long and colourful story.
