The Ipswich Showgrounds is located close to the centre of town on a major road. The site includes a variety of buildings (listed below), a Stage area which is in front of the Grandstand Pavilion, the Main arena and a large cattle pavilion shed. There are several smaller pavilions and covered areas spread around the showgrounds site as well as large open spaces with roads connecting the whole site.
The Function Room has an adjoining terrace underneath a large fig tree.
The Events Centre includes the Main Pavilion and the covered Breezeway. The Pavilion is a large building with high ceilings with industrial sized fans on the ceiling and several large roller doors.
Events Centre Board Room is on the lower level of Events Centre and has an adjoining kitchen. There is lift access between the Board Room and the Function Room.
The Reception Centre has a large open plan and expansive windows on both sides of the building.
There is also an on-site caravan park that has up to 25 spacious powered and water-provided sites and a dump point.
