Beneath the North end of the bridge, the Howard Smith Wharves precinct is home to breweries, bars and restaurants, pub lawns, renovated historic buildings, and a hotel. The Brisbane Riverwalk is a boardwalk that runs along the river from the city to New Farm, a shared path popular with pedestrians and cyclists.
