Dumbarton Cattle Station is a film friendly location with diverse landscapes within 12,500 acres of working cattle farm, with direct river frontage to the McKenzie River. This location offers wide open spaces, long grassy paddocks, excellent wooden post rail fencing, genuine wooden cattle yards, timbered walking and driving tracks, dusty creek beds, a wide river frontage, heavy timbered bushland, a deep rocky gully, irrigated cropping, and acres of paddocks with good quality cattle grazing.

The house yard area comprises 3 houses, including an old Queenslander, in an acre block area, fenced with wooden posts and surrounded by trees, flowing shrubs and lawn, located on top of a hill providing views to the cropping area, river flats, river and surrounding paddocks. Majestic Moreton Bay Figs are located near the house area. Existing onsite are extensive of equipment for cropping, earth moving, tractors etc and sheds with some genuine old stuff, old timber and genuine history in it. Mustering is conducted using motorbikes with working dogs (kelpies) and all cattle are good quality well bred stock.

With an abundance of wildlife and birdlife with flocks of white cockatoos, galahs, geese, ducks as well as horses, camels, chickens, pigeons, guinea fowl and butterflies.
