The Prince Alfred Hotel is one of the oldest and most iconic hotels and pubs in Queensland. The PA Hotel is home to Tap’d Bar (the Biggest Bar in the Southern Hemisphere with 72 Craft Beers on Tap), Char’d Restaurant, casual dining in Plantations Coffee Shop, 45 pokies in the Gaming Room and Harry Brown’s Liquor Store located at the back of the building. There is a large electronic advertising sign located at the front of the building. Car parking is available on one side of the building with a larger carpark out the back.
There is a green plant feature wall in the Tap'd area of the PA Hotel that has a 9 beer tap water feature underneath. This room also features booths butting up to large round windows surrounded by dark wood paneling. As Tap'd is a sports bar there are wall-mounted large screen televisions spread around the area.
