A vintage Steam Train Ware house and Railway Yard are located at 22 Patrick Street Swanbank. This area houses a collection of Operational Vintage Steam and Diesel Locomotives, Timber and Steel Passenger Carriages and Freight Wagons (Built between 1880 and 1950). At 110 Swanbank Coal Road is Swanbank Train Station, this 1902 fully restored Timber Building is located on the lakeside and features lovely bespoke rose gardens and an old world charm of the turn of last century.

Joining these two locations is a 5km stretch of train line which the Queensland Pioneer Steam Railway operates heritage services over. The railway is available to charter trains for filming purposes and is able to form trains representing those seen from 1880 to the 1980's.
