A large rotunda built in 1891 is the entrance/exit to the Nature Centre. Shaded walkways through exhibits and landscaped gardens that have been created to represent local bushland and flora communities with a steam running through the centre. The variety of animals include wallabies, wombats, goannas, emus, kangaroos, dingoes, quolls, snakes, turtles, swans and bilbies in their own specially designed nocturnal exhibit. There is a rainforest bird aviary with contains a variety of bird life. The barn area houses a cow, sheep, pigs, guinea pigs and chickens.
