Moffat beach is one of the Sunshine Coast's most popular weekend beach spots. Popular with families and the surf crowd, this sleepy beach town is home to a beautiful beach and a pleasant little strip of eateries and small shops. The beach is flanked by tall pines and pandanus trees and is complemented by a large shaded grassy area. The beach is famed amongst surfers for its perfect point break. Moffat is also home to one of Australia's top craft breweries, Moffat Beach Brewing Company, whose bar would make a fantastic beachside location.

Moffat beach is a 90 minute drive from Brisbane airport, and a 30 minute drive away from Sunshine Coast airport. The town of Caloundra, which is 10 minutes drive away, has a range of accommodation and catering options.
