Castle Hill Lookout is a popular destination for walkers , joggers and drivers (easy access via car). From this point, you can enjoy the stunning panoramic view of the coastline, Magnetic Island, mountains and the greater city of Townsville. As it is a popular destination for fitness enthusiasts, there is a water mister at the top, which is great for cooling down. The hill is located right in the centre of town, however there is limited parking, toilets and only a small walking loop. The location is considered a ‘must’ do in Townsville- so don’t forget your camera.
