Once a lavish vision of the past, Paronella Park to this day still attracts visitors to its magical grounds. Centred in the park are the ghostly remains of the derelict Paronella Castle. The striking structure, like traces of a lost civilisation, sits proudly atop a small cliff overlooking cascading waterfalls that plummet to the waterway below hidden among dense tropical rainforest. Almost like an ancient ruins, the park has winding walkways, crumbling secret jungle stairways and terraces allowing spectacular views of the surrounds and waterfall. For an even greater view of the waterfall and park visitors can walk across the falls with the timber cable suspension bridge.
