The red brick Saint Brigid’s church, completed in 1914 sits prominently atop a hill in an inner-urban suburb of Brisbane City. The Romanesque-gothic traditional design is a brick fortress-like building, rectangular, with the chancel, entrance porch and its flanking buttresses semi-octagonal in shape.
