In 2018 'Chasing Coral' - a Sundance award winning documentary that I was privileged to be a camera operator on, was shortlisted for an Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.I'm a lighting camera operator/director/producer with 20 years experience, having previously worked for free to air networks and now freelancing. I’m credited on ob doc tv and digital series and features, commercial campaigns and also live OBs for national and international broadcasters and productions. I mainly work on tv series and my speciality skillset is working as a single operator on shows while filling 3 roles simultaneously as a Shooter/Producer/Director. I am also commercially licensed to fly drones with cinema package payloads up to 25kg.I've been drawing and painting since I was 9 years old, so moving images are an extension of what I learnt in art class at school - composition, colour and light. I'm driven by great imagery, great people and a passion to tell emotive, human stories.When I'm not shooting, I'm also credited as an editor/colourist.
